Words: Anytime you are reading a blog, magazine, watching a movie, or wherever you see a new word or phrase you don't understand, add the word into Sanbit. As you add the word, you can add definitions, example usage of the words, and associate it with word lists(highly recommended) to categorize your words. Then later on you can review these words, test yourself, or play games.

Word lists are a way to organize your words, they are like categories or tags for your words. They allow for fast access to your words. For example, if you have learned the word "hello" in Spanish, you could then add this word to the greetings word list. What is useful about putting words into word lists is that now you can play games or study your word lists. For example, you can make Flash Cards out of the "countries" word list to study the names of countries or you can play the Quiz game on the "animals" word list

Paragraphs are for practicing reading and writing abilities for the language you are learning. To write a paragraph, first choose a topic and then write a paragraph using the new vocabulary and grammar you have recently learned. On the right hand side is a toolbar to browse the words you have learned. You can use this toolbar to find words to practice using. After you have submitted your paragraph, other users can give you feedback. To practice your reading abilities, you can also read paragraphs written by other community members. Try to read paragraphs written by native or advanced speakers and if you encounter text you don't understand, leave a comment requesting help. Besides practing reading and writing, you can also help out the community by correcting paragraphs. For example, If you speak "English", then you would read the paragraphs for people who are practicing "English" and you could give them feedback on their grammar usage, vocabulary, etc. The more you help others, the more others are willing to help you out.

Games: We are slowly adding different games to help you reinforce what you have learned. Currently the games are based on vocabulary. Flash Cards and Quizzes are based on your word lists, so start collecting words and put them into word lists.

If at anytime you are having trouble understanding something about the language you are studying such as the meaning of a particular word, how to use certain grammar, how to pronounce words, or anything else, feel free to ask the community.

Searching: An online word list would not be very useful unless it has useful searching abilities. There is both a regular search and advanced search. The regular search is at the top of every page. If the regular search is unable to help you find what you are looking for, try using the advanced search. With it you can filter results by your network, search only definitions, examples, words, word lists, etc.

Network: If you are interested to learn from other users on the site, you can "follow" them. Just go to their public profile page and click the "follow" button. You will then have a feed on your dashboard that shows you what they have been learning lately.

Fill out your profile so that you can find other users with similar interests as you. That makes it easier if you are trying to find a language partner to help you improve your foreign language skills.
